The article is devoted to one of the issues of intercultural communication. The authors analyze the results of a free associative experiment aimed to reveal the modern image of Armenia in the mind of a Russian-speaking individual. The zones of the associative field were identified, filling the “Armenia” concept with particular content. The most frequent reactions are classified by their affiliation to the mentifacts. In addition, it was found that negative manifestations in the attitude of Russians to Armenia are absent
