The results of a research of peculiarities of attitude to himself and others of a person with the experience of a psychic trauma are presented in this article. On the basis of a theoretical review the system of attitude to oneself and others is considered as a key characteristic of a personality type, attitude to oneself and others as the driving force of behavior and feelings, the consequences of the peculiarities of experiencing a psycho-traumatic situation on human life are revealed. The empirical studies were conducted on individuals with neurotic disorders (experimental group) and healthy people (control group). According to the diagnostic resultsthe statistically significant differences between the degree of trauma and the peculiarities of the attitude towards oneself and others have been revealed. The severe consequences of cumulative psycho-trauma cause manifestations of inadequate self-care, negative feelings, including mental isolation and estrangement, difficulties with trust, victimization and revictability by other people.
