The article examines cooperation between Russian and Chinese societies in the field of healthcare. It studies historical examples of social cooperation in the field of healthcare and its influence on the formation of the image of the examined countries, and contemporary means of bilateral collaboration. As a result of the study, it was concluded that public cooperation contributes to drawing government's attention to the problems in the field of healthcare and taking particular steps towards their resolution.
