Nowadays, in the context of the digital transformation of the economy, Industry 4.0 technologies are becoming fundamental in the struggle for leadership in the global space. In this regard, Russia and other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) need to determine their place in the new digital economy and develop their systems of digital integration. The purpose of the work is to determine the place and role of the EAEU in the context of the digitalization of the world economy, as well as to establish priorities for the effective integration of the Union into the global digital economy. The study provides a description of the existing digitalization programs in the EAEU states, highlights the main problems that hinder digital integration within the Union and suggests possible ways to solve them.
