The gross content and forms of heavy metals have been studied in the bottom sediments of two rivers in St. Petersburg. The streams are characterized by a technogenic sedimentation regime. The chemical specialization of sediments is determined by the main sources of pollution. For bottom sediments, a series of decrease in the mobility of metals has been established: Cd∼Zn>Cr>Cu∼Ni>Mn∼Co>Pb>Fe>Sr>Ba. Differences in the phase composition of metals in watercourses are shown. The relationship between the forms of metals and technogenic mineral formation has been established.
