Applying the likelihood-based spatial modeling of spiral arm segments of the Galaxy, we investigate the morphological structure of the Galactic spiral pattern. We propose a new technique of visualization and testing of multi-segment model quality. Our analysis results in tracing a new segment in the outer part of the Galaxy. Addition of this segment leads to better agreement between the model and observations. Results obtained for models with different number of segments
are discussed.
