Formation of a new language order, accompanying economic and political globalization, caused the restructuring of the global languages system. Dominant in the XX-th century. modernist and etnosymbolic paradigm became inapplicable to explain the phenomena that occur in a globalized world. For an explanation of this processes the gravitational model of languages system is used. The old model of languages system based on the use of supercentral languages of the former empires as international languages, is displaced by the model, the axis of which is hypercentral language – English. His dominance is provided by the coordinated efforts of the Anglo-Saxon countries.
