The image of a political figure in modern US media is a complex phenomenon that has a multi-level language structure and is driven by various extralinguistic factors. Creating the image of a certain politician by the means of language is one of the issues most covered in linguistic studies. The active involvement of the media in the creation and publicizing of a public image is characteristic of modern politics. The analysis of morphological, lexical-grammatical and syntactic language tools that represent the image of Donald Trump revealed the predominance of a negative view of his personality in the American media. This view is mainly presented at the syntactic and textual levels. At the same time, the media text becomes more expressive and emotional due to the use of multi-level language tools.
