The material form and articulation-acoustic conditionality of sounds that make up syllable complexes, the polarity of the characteristics of the units forming them (the predominance of noise in consonants and tone in vowels), as well as the ability to be combined in lexemes (units of a higher level) makes it possible to consider the syllable from the standpoint of natural science as the smallest “particle” that determines the structure of all natural languages of diverse types
