The article considers the methodological possibilities of the research strategy of analyzing risks and dangers of changes in value orientations in the conditions of digital societies. A new theoretical approach to the study of the mechanisms of reflexive risk tracking is substantiated. Issues of correlation between studying risk and its perception with the place and role of strategic culture in forming adequate and inadequate responses to threats meaningful for understanding the process of building a social order are problematized
