The article is devoted to the analysis of the official newspaper “Renmin Ribao”. It also discusses the historical features of China and their reflection on the newspaper. A qualitative content analysis of the “Renmin Ribao” newspaper from 2014 to 2018 was used to analyze 4 articles per year, where Russia appears most often. The structure of articles and their thematic direction are described.
