The problem of the parameters determination for the field electron emission signal based on the Fowler-Nordheim theory is considered. In the paper a nonlinear regression model with an absolute quality functional is applied. The search for optimal values was carried out using uniform sequences formed by quasi-random and pseudo-random numbers. The research performed in the framework of the computer experiment showed that the approach under consideration allows obtaining good point estimates of the parameters. The best accuracy was demonstrated by the algorithm based on Halton's sequence. It also proved to be the most expensive in terms of the computation time. The Sobol' method and the Mersenne Twister generator did not lose much in the accuracy, winning in time.
