The article discusses the recent U.S. National Cybersecurity Strategy issued by Donald Trump administration. The author reveals new approaches and methods of the U.S. information security policy. The paper considers Donald Trump administration’s views on the following challenges and threats in the cyber sphere: the information security, the deterrence policy towards cyber adversaries, the comprehensive protection of the national interests, and the procedure and rules elaborated for dealing with national and international problems in cyberspace.
