Position of shock waves is studied in the 2D diverging channel with pointed wedge. Numerical calculation of Euler equations is performed with free package Stanford University Unstructured (SU2) and commercial package Ansys CFX. Hysteresis in the shock wave position versus the supersonic inlet Mach number has been detected. Inside the hysteresis region, there is a range of Mach numbers in which asymmetric flow regimes are realized.
