The article examines the legal problem of countering terrorism on the example of combating biological terrorism as one of the
potentially dangerous modern challenges and threats. The main legislative acts in the field of countering terrorism are presented. The organizational and legal problems arising in the implementation of the prevention of biological terrorism are considered, and possible
ways of solving them are proposed.
