Prolonged air leak after lung resections is a frequent complication in the postoperative period, leading to a deterioration in its course, as well as to an increase in the length of patient’s stay The article is devoted to the problem of identifying risk factors for prolonged leakage of the pulmonary parenchyma. Despite the large number of works devoted to this topic, practical guidelines have not been formed that would allow us to select patients from the high-risk group who may be justified in the use of methods for preventing air leak.
