Abstract. Apatite inclusions in zircon are studied in four Late Paleozoic-Early Mesozoic granite plutons of the northeast Taimyr Peninsula (Russian High Arctic). Variation in F, Cl, and SO3 concentrations of apatite are compared with those of accessory apatite in the rock groundmass. The results indicate that granitic magmas of the Tessema and Dorozhinskiy pluton underwent long fluid evolution in contrast to granites of the Pekinskiy pluton, in which the composition of apatite inclusions in zircon and apatite in the groundmass is identical.
