The work is devoted to the analysis of problems related to the processes of changing the understanding of private life and its various types in the context of the development of information technology. A special place in moral regulation is occupied by professional activity, since its characteristic feature is the wide distribution of formally fixed norms of professional ethics in various documents. In the course of the work, it was revealed that in matters of privacy, the place of relations between the individual and the state increasingly comes to the relationship between the individual and the corporation. This circumstance is the source for the formation of the need for ethical regulation of these issues in professional codes.
