This article gives an example of expert analysis of media text containing semantic distortion. Text analysis was conducted from the perspective of a sociologist, political scientist, lawyer, philologist, and a specialist in the field of mass media in the study “Media Monitoring of North-West” at the St Petersburg State University Center for expertise.
