The article deals with the constants of the artistic world of I. Bunin on the material of the story “In a familiar street”. The analysis shows the constants of the text - thematic, compositional-structural, figurative, motivic, narrative. The article shows that the introduction of “the second” narrator (I-narrator and he-narrator) complicates the ideological figurative and motivic structure of the story, bringing into it an element of generality, universality, typicality, in contrast to the subjective manner of narration of the most stories of the cycle “The Dark alleys”.
