The article examines mutual influence of religiosity and popular culture. This problem is considered by the example of interrelation of modern pagan rock, folk rock and new religious movements of nativist ecological orientation often referred to as neo-paganism. The authors reveal such a distinctive feature of new religiosity as religious bricolage, which considers cultural phenomena as sources of religious beliefs and experience. Lyrical pagan and folk-rock compositions applying to the Slavic pre-Christian images are analysed.
