Integrating renewable energy and energy storage systems into a microgrid is a promising approach to save energy and operating costs. To improve energy efficiency, new energy management strategies are being developed, which include the planning and operation of energy-producing and energy-consuming installations, as well as the distribution and storage of energy. In this paper, we consider one of the tasks of energy management-planning the schedule of energy storage for the day ahead in order to minimize the financial costs of users. The proposed optimization model minimizes the cost of buying electricity by scheduling the charge and discharge of energy storage batteries, as well as exchanging with the energy market, provided that the system's limitations are met and the energy balance is achieved. To improve efficiency, we compare open-source software packages designed to solve linear programming problems.
