This article studies opportunities for using an interdisciplinary approach in secondary schools in order to increase students’ motivation to learn. It argues that distinguishing school subjects decreases students’ motivation thus the efficacy of education. At the same time, applying interdisciplinary modules into the curriculum may enforce motivation to learn.
