The article is devoted to the study of socio-psychological adaptation and early disadaptive schemas (EDS) in adults. Obtained empiric results of the study are described in the article. It has been determined that indices of socio-psychological adaptation form a large amount of stable negative correlations with early disadaptive schemas. Early disadaptive schemas may have an impact on peculiarities of man’s emotions and his behavior in stressful situations. The stronger intensity of different EDS, the lower is the level of adaptedness and different related personal indices. The greater intensity of EDS the less is man’s possibility to satisfy own needs realize the goals.
