The article explores modern activities of Germany in the United Nations. The author considers positions of this country in different bodies of the organization and the possibilities or their changes. The projects of widening the number of Security Council permanent members and perspectives of Germany to take one of the new places are also explored, as well as military restrictions which negatively affect positions of Germany. The article also considers the UN bodies which buildings are located in Germany.
