This article is devoted to determining the main trends, directions and features of environmental cooperation between Russia and the Nordic countries. The article examines the bilateral relations between Russia and the Nordic countries; assesses the joint activities of Russia and the Nordic countries in the field of environmental protection within the “Northern Dimension”; and analyzes Russia's participation in environmental cooperation with the Nordic countries in the Arctic region.
