This article is devoted to the study of language processes occurring on the territory of modern Ukraine, in particular, the adoption of new laws on the languages of national minorities living on the territory of Ukraine and the consequences that such measures can lead to. The process taking place in this language community as a result of geopolitical and social changes of the modern era, has not been studied from the sociolinguistic point of view since it got so acute only in September 2017.
