MRI studies of 52 patients with metastases of colorectal cancer, their primary examination and dynamic observation during chemotherapy have been analyzed in the article. The aim of this analysis was to estimate possibilities of complex MRI for the evaluation of the dynamic observation, to clarify possibilities of DWI (diffusion-weighted imaging), to evaluate the necessity of applying MRI techniques in the dynamic observation of patients with liver metastases on the background of applied chemotherapy. All patients were on the dispensary supervision after surgical treatment. The progression of the disease in the form of the appearance of metastases in the liver was revealed at various times of observation, which was an indication for chemotherapy in the condition of bilobed lesion.
