n. In the article, the author examines and compares the results of climate change
conferences held in British Glasgow in 2021 and Egyptian Sharm el-Sheikh in 2022. Despite the
outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, climate change issues have not lost their
relevance, but, on the contrary, have been able to attract even more attention from the world
community. In the course of working with the materials of the conferences, the author noted the
main problems on the way to their successful implementation. The main one is the commitment
of countries to combat climate change. Not all countries are actively solving this problem, the
cause of which is the underdevelopment of the economy. Nevertheless, encouraging conclusions
can be drawn from the results of the conferences.
