The construction of offshore drilling platforms and other structures on the shelf of the freezing seas is an urgent state task. One of the problems is the development of effective methods for calculating structures taking into account the effects of ice and ways to reduce this impact. The work examines the elastic-plastic bending of metal vertical supports of hydraulic structures under the action of a horizontal concentrated load, which simulates the pressure of the ice field.
