According to the authors of the article, the need for an environmental approach in the creation of modern exposition and exhibition spaces in the museum environment is obvious. The authors propose to consider it as a expert review tool. Using a complex approach to the analysis of the museum environment, based on the triad «environment-processes-design», the designer can not only come up with a new museum space, but also evaluate the existing museum environment of expositions in terms of its success. The proposed algorithm has been repeatedly tested in project work. Based primarily on the analysis of processes, the designer models the desired user scenarios. Choosing tools for organizing the contextual environment, he influences the museum narrative, which, in its turn, can interest a wide audience. Expert review of museum expositions at the stages of interaction of the environment with processes and design makes it possible to identify and eliminate possible disadvantages at any of these stages, launching the process of «self-regeneration».
