The article considers one of the least studied periods in the history of Italian emigration, the Italian Diaspora in the Northern Black Sea. The author gives a brief overview of the history of foundation and development or the Italian Diaspora, especially the period of Stalin's repressions and deportations, as well as analyzes its current state and concludes on the need for urgent measures for the revival of the national language of the Crimean Italians.
