Russia has a huge territory in the high latitudes of Europe and Asia. Attention to the problems of the development of the Arctic is increased. Prospects for the development of tourism in the country depend on the successful formation of a favorable view of Russia as a tourist destination. The tourist potential of the Russian Arctic is high. Unique natural and cultural resources and conditions allow organizing various types of tourism. Implementation of innovative approaches in the development of environmental education activities, ethnographic programs and excursion activities is carried out in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
