This study looks at recent research dealing with intonation patterns of French special questions. We focus on French special questions with interrogative word in the end of the sentence”. In the present research we study eventual intonation curves of this type of special questions. Relevance of the research is defined by need to find possible melodic types used in special questions. As a result of the carried-out experimental analysis were obtained about intonation of French questions with interrogative word in the end of the sentence. It should be noted that the received results are based on the large volume of sound material.
