The formation of the interdisciplinary direction "Digital Humanities" is due to the development of the information society. Within this direction, methods of applying information and communication technologies in various humanitarian studies are being formed. The biographical method of research is also increasingly used in humanitarian research. First of all, it is research in the field of history and cultural studies. The report is devoted to identifying the main directions of using methods and tools of "Digital Humanities" based on the application of the biographical method in the research of cultural memory. The article identifies and systematizes the Internet resource base, which is the basis for applying the biographical method in the context of digital transformations taking place in the modern information society. We propose our own approaches to the development of the biographical method based on the use of information and communication technologies and methods of "Digital Humanities". As an original approach, we consider the network resource created and developed by the authors - the website of the Center for Biographical Research (http://biographycentre.org). It is shown that it is both a space for the biographical method and its analysis. The methodological features of its use for the development of the biographical method in humanitarian research are revealed.
