The article is devoted to the study of problems of protection of the rights of the victim in cases of private prosecution. The study of guarantees of the rights of victims of crimes and mechanisms for their implementation have become particularly relevant in Russia in recent years. This created the need to find approaches to resolving issues of ensuring the rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation and international treaties. The theoretical and practical significance of this study is due to the need to solve problems related to the protection of the rights of victims in criminal proceedings.
