The article is devoted to the study of the problem of loneliness in the context of professional activity in the period of late adulthood. The article deals with the relationship between loneliness and the parameters of professional development of an adult, in the context of the age-sex aspect. The specifics of professionogenesis is described depending on the level of loneliness experience.
