This review represents the results of the study investigating prevalence and structure of mental disorders in ovarian cancer patients (OC) in connection with their cognitive functioning. Ovarian cancer patients (N = 82) were assessed by means of SDL-90-R, HADS and MADRS; for assessment of cognitive domains BACS has been applied. Data analysis has been completed by means of variance analysis, correlation and linear regression analysis. It has been revealed that somatoform disorders as well as depression and anxiety dominate in the structure of psychopathological symptoms in ovarian cancer patients. Presence of depression and anxiety is associated with obsessive - compulsive disorders.
