The article considers basic tendencies of optimism-pessimism displaying in graphic world-view. The empirical research was carried out in which participants were suggested to paint and describe their own world-view. As a result of qualitative analysis three groups of participants with a various degree of optimism-pessimism were revealed. Each group description was given and gender differences in the representation of the world were analyzed.
