The presented study investigated the interrelationship between vegetative regulation and factors of daily stressors in men and women. The aim was to determine paths of influence exerted by daily stressors on vegetative regulation in the age-sexual aspect. The study involved 402 people aged 20 to 68 years: 138 men (Mmale = 34.9; SD = 10.6) and 264 women (Mfemale = 38.6; SD = 11.6). In order to calculate vegetative regulation index we used blood pressure levels; readings of the «AngioScan» device designed for assessment of the cardiovascular system condition and electrocardiography (ECG) parameters. Daily stressors were studied using a questionnaire “Daily Stressors” which revealed 10 types of daily stressors. We investigated factors of daily stressors, peculiarities of the vegetative status and stress index in the men and women groups. The specificity of their manifestation in the age-sexual aspect is described. Significant differences in the majority of stress factors in the direction of their greater severity in women were revealed. The predominance of the normative type of vegetative regulation in women and the predominance of the type of "expressed parasympathicotonia" in men were revealed. Analysis of path ways revealed the influence of the stressor "General well-being" index on the vegetative index through increased expression of the stress index, contributing to expression of ergotropy effect in women. Men have discovered a direct effect of daily stressor "competition" and "stress index", a vegetative state, contribute to the manifestation of ergotropy effect. The interaction of sympathetic and parasympathetic effects according to the type of synergism, which is manifested in older people (both men and women) in the context of the experience of daily stressors.
