From the standpoint of the system-evolutionary approach the materials on the current state of the process of formation of ecological consciousness of society as the highest form of social consciousness and the ideological basis of the knowledge economy are presented. The article discusses the impact of digitalization on the processes of perception and reflection of the objective reality of the world.
