The article is devoted to the consideration of ideas about social justice and equality in the works of the Muslim jurist and theologian Ibn Taymiyyah, determined primarily by reliance on the main sources of Islamic dogma and law - the Quran and Sunnah, as well as the social and political realities of the scholars era. The ideas that Ibn Taymiyya expressed were of a practical and sometimes reformative character, which causes an interest in his heritage right up to the present.
