Based on the interviews with fathers of children with disabilities conducted in 2019 we research paternity practices and the needs of families in social support. It is shown that real-life practices of fathers correspond to the model of involved parenting. The main directions of improving social support, which will contribute to strengthening the involved fatherhood and, in general, the well-being of the family raising a child with disabilities, have been determined.
