The article is devoted to the application of technological innovations in the development of the Northern sea route (NSR). Innovative technologies allow public and private companies to actively develop their business in difficult natural and climatic conditions, solve problems of accident -free shipping and accelerated construction of the port infrastructure of the NSR. However, the use of technologies not only increases the competitiveness of business, but also contributes to the development of certain sectors of the national economy. The key ways should include shipbuilding, radio electronics, new materials, port construction, oil and gas industry, etc. Creating favorable conditions for business development in the Arctic, the state determines the demand for technological innovations. Solving the problems of developing the NSR is possible due to the active interaction of the state and private business based on public- private partnership, which in General will create favorable conditions for investment attractiveness of the megaproject.
