The author presents a philosophical reflection of the language mechanisms of prose by Andrey Platonov. The researcher analyses the autoreflexive structure of the prose of the writer. Autoreflexivity acts as such a language feature, which refers not to the meaning and content, but to the functioning of the denotative. On the basis of the report of Michel Foucault about painting by Manet and ontology by Martin Heidegger the paper reveals the optical and material mechanisms of autoreflexivity, due to which a work of art dynamicizes the view of the spectator and the reader.
