This article examines the main features of the territorial organization of the structure of the city distribution across the territory of the Murmansk region. Based on open sources, statistical data and studied literature, a detailed description of the patterns of the spatial location of cities, dynamic processes that contribute to the formation of this picture of territorial distribution over the peninsula, and the prospects for further development of urbanization in the Murmansk region are given. Also, based on the integration and structuring of data, for a more visual presentation of information, the author have compiled a schematic map of the regional urbanization.
