The article examines the career representations of young professionals in a pandemic situation. A study is being conducted of the career representations of young professionals in a pandemic situation. The subjects were 22-25 year old young specialists with higher education and work experience less than 1 year. The research methods were a survey of 8 questions, the content of which is aimed at identifying the characteristics of the career ideas of young specialists in a situation with a pandemic. The survey contains questions in two areas: the respondent's received profession and actual work, identifying changes in the career ideas of young professionals before and after the start of the pandemic. It is concluded that career growth is less of a priority for young specialists, the position of waiting, adapting to changing conditions in the labor market and, in general, to the economic situation in the country and in the world becomes more acceptable options. Young specialists are more interested in material income, flexible working hours, including the transition to remote or project work, which gives stability and levels out the situation of uncertainty associated with the economic consequences of the pandemic.
