The authors study the impact of digitalization of the economy on the implementation of sustainable development goals by business. The ambiguity of the positions of various experts on the effects of digitalization is identified. Attention is drawn to the increasing importance of environmental and climate risks that can serve as a barrier to achieving sustainability goals. The strategies of international and Russian business are analyzed as a response to environmental and climate challenges, as well as support measures implemented by the state and its institutions, including financial ones.
