The report is devoted to the study of the influence of interaction between business associations and the government on the territorial and economic development of the region. In the innovative era, the importance of constructive dialogue increases between governments and the business community increases, which leads to a change in the basic functions and tasks of business associations, as a form of consolidation of entrepreneurs. The author conducts a comparative analysis of the development of relations between business associations and governments in different countries and concludes that the partnership between the two actors can have a positive impact on the development of the region.
