The sweep out of dust grains by radiation from Mira Ceti (oxygen giant) and V CrB (carbon giant) has been considered for maximum and minimum of the light curve. The sweep efficiency β (the ratio of radiation pressure force to the gravitational one) has been computed for cylindrical and spherical dust grains of various chemical composition.
